Rumsfeld Resigns; Students Claim Victory; Goodgers Play Meaningless Final Regular Season Game

Bucky Beatwriter

Students who began their protest last week can already claim one victory in their anti-war protest. Just days after students shut down the campus here, Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense and architect of the debacle in Iraq, resigned. While Student leaders welcomed Rumsfeld resignation, they vowed to continue thier protest until all thier demands are met: a full U.S. pull out from Iraq.

This week the beloved Bucky's Goodgers take on rival Golden Goblins. The Goblins are playing for a shot at the BTFFL BLue Ox Bowl, while the Goodgers play just for pride. Look out Goblins!

In the second BTFFL game, the Fighting Farmers will not be returning to the BOB. The Halifax Spitfires need a win and a Golden Goblin loss to advance to the BOB.
