Goodger's Starters

Goodgers Go For Regular Season Title

With their victory last week against the Golden Goblins, the Goodgers have put themselves in a position to win the BTFFL regular season championship with a win. The Goodgers hope to win the championship and play for the Blue Ox Bowl at home.

The Goodgers will play the Fightin' Farmers in that game, no matter what the results this weekend. The Goodgers hope to avoid a return trip to Dekalb Corn Field where they lost 2 weeks ago. Goodgers coach Wendelberger was reportedly angry after he and his players were pelted mercilessly by the "Nothin' Goodie" homecoming Candy distributed by school officials. "Those Angry Hick fans at Fallow Field can kiss my ass. The candy was as hard as a rock and I tried the damn thing and it tasted like cow dung ... I guess that's what they eat there."

The coach seems easily distracted when facing the Farmers this season and there are worrries that the team might not be on top of thier game when the play the Farmers in the Bowl this year.
