TODAY, the Goodgers effort for an historic third Blue Ox Bowl win begins. In a rematch of last years Blue Ox Bowl, Bucky's first game comes against conference rival Golden Goblins. The Goodgers return several important starters from last years championship team, including quarterback Drew Stanton, running back Mike Hart and wide receiver Dorian Bryant. Big contributions are expected from newcomers Albert Young and Brett Basanez as well as holdover Steve Breaston and EB Halsey. Perhaps the most important departure will be that of kicker Mike Nugent -- replacing his production may be impossible.
