Ohio State 48
Illinois 10
This game should not even be played, where is the mercy rule when you need
one. IN fact, I am tempted not to start Smith as I think they won't need
his production to win.

lock of the week
Michigan State 38
Purdue 23
MSU returns to form and PU still does not have a pulse. I love seeing PU
suck it up.Did I mention Tiller is a jerk?

Iowa 30
Northwestern 27
North. looked sloppy last week and I expect that trend to continue against
an underrated Iowa D. Don't get me wrong, North can play with IA but if
Tate is on Iowa will score. This could be the game of the week.

Penn State 24
Wisconsin 22
Both teams excel in close games and I expect this to be a close fairly
boring game to watch- punt, punt punt. Wisc. was fortunate to beat Mich and
should have lost to Minn. and so I get the feeling that this is the week
Wisc. will outplay PSU but still lose- maybe a pick for a TD or a some kind
of bad play will be the difference.

Minnesota 34
Indiana 31
Yes I am going out on a limb here and picking MN to win its final game of
the season. I know Mn has not beaten IND in ind since 1985 and Mason teams
always play poorly there but I just think they are due. Mn has better
talent overall than IND and I think this is their last- best chance- to
become bowl eligible. I would not be shocked if Mn lost given Mason's ability but they should win
this one and if they play an average game they will win. Look for Cupito to
have a good game- he needs to play well if they are to win. This is a good example of how little this program has advanced when playing ind is a questionable win- so much for Mason building a competitive program.
