1. Tyrell Sutton -- One man wrecking crew on O
2. Mike Hart -- If he stays healthy he might outscore Sutton
3. Albert Young -- Best sure starter remaining -- likely won't be the 3rd highest scoring RB in the BTFFL
4. Javon Ringer -- Once the starter emerges in MN, WI, and OSU, Ringer drops
5. Tony Pittman -- Seemed to come on at the end of the year, until the new Wells displaces him, he's valuable
6. Kory Sheets -- Home Run hitter on an offense that will be back
7. Tony Hunt -- I think he's harmed by MRob's departure and Morelli's arm
8. Amir Pinnix -- We'll see
9. Jamil Walker -- I doubt it
10.Pierre Thomas -- Unless Mendenhall takes over, this is a three back system that won't produce many fantasy points
11.Demetrius McCray -- Indiana ...

Another way I've been thinking about it since Andy started my wheels turning on the BTFFL with this post.

Tier 1: Sutton, Hart, Young, WI Starter, MN Starter
Tier 2: Ringer, Pittman/Wells, Sheets, Hunt
Tier 3: Thomas/Halsey/Mendenhall, McCray

I tend to agree, but I with one slight difference...I would put Wells/OSU in Tier 1 if he's as good as they're saying:

Tier 1: Sutton, Hart, Young, WI Starter, MN Starter, Pittman/Wells
Tier 2: Ringer, Sheets, Hunt
Tier 3: Thomas/Halsey/Mendenhall, McCray

Well(s), as a person who was burned by the great Mo Wells last year, I'll believe it when I see it from OSU. I know Chris Wells is a better prospect but I'm not sold on him just coming in and taking over the job. Of course, it might happen, but I think the OSU running game belongs in the second tier. It may very well be that Wells/Pittman deserve to be alone in tier 2 as they do play for OSU and we know that at some point there will be another Heisman canidate at RB from there -- maybe it is Chris Wells. And also do think that Pittman showed enough at the end of last year that he'll be a solid fantasy back if he holds on to the job.

Looking at it again -- tier 2 for me is really a toss up. Any of those 4 could be the high scorer of the group. Any could be disappointing.

One of the more impressive performers in this spring's Hoot 'n Holler was incoming freshman running back Chris Wells who simply scored on his first carry, running over a defender at the goal line to get in to the endzone.

"He got the ball and he scored. It didn't take him three plays, he got the ball and he scored in one (play)," said offensive coordinator Jim Bollman. "He knows what to do with it when he gets his hands on the ball and which direction to head."

"Guys like Chris Wells stepped in there and ran hard, hit people hard, pushed people back when blocking and pushing people back when blocking. He ran well and had nice burst out of the backfield. He lowers his shoulders well," said offensive lineman Kirk Barton.

"He lowered the shoulder on some guy and he knocked him into next week's practice," Barton added.

"It was pretty neat to see. You always wonder about freshmen, are they going to be a little nervous, a little bit afraid, and he pretty much proved that he's ready to play."
