The BTFFL Bottom 10

1. Temple (the worst team I have EVER seen....really. They are sooo bad!)
2. Illinois Fantasy Players - All of them! (I didn't think it was possible, but they're worse than last year. Juice, Brasic, Mendenhall, Pierre Thomas....all wasted)
3. Whining Oklahoma (Shut the hell up! Oh my God! You got screwed by the officials, no shit. It happens to teams all the time, but no one complains about it like Oklahoma. They're threatening not to play any PAC-10 teams ever again!? " Maybe the Gophers shouldn't play Big Ten teams anymore because of bad officiating in the conference. "We're never playing football again unless you give us the National Championship. I just can't stand it! Ahhhhh!)
4. Indiana Running Backs (Wow! Sears, Thigpen, McCray....what a bunch of slugs. I apologize if you have 2 of these players on your roster....ha!)
5. Ernie Wheelwright
(Fell off the face of the earth. Is he the #3 receiver now? Wow!)
6. Chris Wells (Been a big dissappointment so far. Showed promise in game 1, but it's been the Tony Pittman show ever since.)
7. E. J. Jones (Was the starting back in game 1, then......hasn't seen the field since. Did he break his leg or something...wierd.)
8. Austin Scott (Who is he? Is he still on the team? Why is he still on a roster?)

9. Mike Kafka (Can't complete a pass or run an offense at all. I think he's fading away)
10. Jordan Norwood (Became a ghost last week vs. Youngstown State. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.)

I don't think that Chris Wells belongs on this list. Yes, he was the second pick in the draft but Tony Pittman was the third. Clearly Wells was a long shot to take over so quickly. Now he might have to wait a while longer than hoped.

And Juice, hey, he's about to show the world what he can do against Iowa (probably not much).

2 Indiana backs? What shlep has 2 Indiana backs on his rost...oh, yeah.

Where's the post by about the massive Spitfire win! Spitz is tied for second in the BTFFL. The fur has to be standing on end!

I agree on #s 1,3,4,5,8,9, but don't on the rest. Juice should have an impact as he adjusts to the college game. I think you expext too much, too early of the freshman on your list. Next year, he'll be huge IMO. Illinois will get better. Zook is clearly building for the future, not the present. As for the rest of the Illini players, you're probably right.
Chris wells very well may be the BTFFL offensive player of the year in 2007. He should get more time as the season progresses too. I had no other choice after PJ Hill was picked #1. Everyone knew Pittman would start, but my hope was that Beanie might take over by the end of the season. Hence my Hunt and Ringer picks following Beanie.

EJ started game 1 for the Gophs. You can't help the injury and he'll probably come back as an impact player w/in the next few games. You're throwing in the towel too early on this one.

You've had Norwood for all of one game. PSU didn't even need to ATTEMPT a pass. I wouldn't have expexted Norwood to do much against Youngstown. Plus, you didn't draft him anyway and could always pick up someone else later. I still think he'll produce down the road for you.
