1-Iowa State (Clearly above all other non-Big Ten teams and closing in on my second to third fav. team overall. They hate the Hawks so you have to love them)

2-Mizzou

3-Vanderbilt

4-Kansas

5-Texas

6-Kansas St

7-Washington

8-Colorado

9-Oregon

10-Boisie State (the blue field)

My 2nd favorite conference is cleary the Big 12. I strongly favor the major conference teams closest to the midwest, and then west coast. After my top 5, it hardly matters. You could proably lump about 30 teams together that I root for equally such as UTEP, Oregon State, Rutgers, etc...

Top 5 Hate;
1-Notre Dame
2-South Carolina
3-Iowa
4-Ole Miss
5-BYU

My second favorite conference is the PAC-10. I like Cal, Oregon (although the Jersey's make it hard to continue to like this team) and Washington.

Okay, well at least we can agree on the state schools in the pacific northwest.

I really do like Iowa State and Mizzou though.

I understand that you're not a fan of the Big 12 schools because of their academic problems, but there's really no reason to have anything against Iowa State and Mizzou. They suck at almost everything, so you can root for them all season long when they're playing Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, etc. (although they dont win that often)

My favorite Big Twelve team is actually Texas.

The thing is, there is no good reason to like Iowa State or Mizzou. Rooting for a team that I will get to watch lose all season long to teams that I really hate just doesn't appeal to me. I can still pull for them to beat the Nebraska's and Oklahoma's of the world w/o really being a fan.

But what do you do when the only Big Ten game on at 11:00 is Ohio State 42, Northwestern 0 at halftime. Your precious Pac 10 doesnt start until at least 3:00. Hey I can click over and watch Missouri vs. Oklahoma State for a while and cheer on Mizzou with some interest. But what do you do? What DO you do?

True. But there are other solutions. First, in all likelyhood, the number of touchdowns scored by OSU's players probably has a big impact on my BTFFL game (as does those not scored by NW players). Second, who is the third string RB at OSU? Does he look any good? Third, I can watch that game because I don't like OK State. But more likely there is a better east coast game to watch. Rout against BC, Miami, FSU.
