Helmet Designed for
this weekends game

This weekend the Goodgers will contribute to the BushClinton Hurricane relief fund and help raise money in a variety of ways for relief. The Goodgers unveiled a unique helmet that will be used this weekend, after the game, the helmets will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to victims of Hurricane Katrina. Any helmet not sold will be ground up and never seen again.

Maybe you could sprinkle the helmet dust in the Gulf of Mexio via live telecast during halftime.

Sweet helmet. Where did you get it? I also like the "BG" helmet a lot.

Due to the already massive positive feedback for the Goodgers Katrina relief game, rather than grounding up helmets and disposing of them, the ground up helmets will be used to make sandbags that will become a permanent part of the New Orleans levee system. It has been announced that the federal governement would appreciate any other donations of sand or sand-like material from the general public. It can not afford to buy any itself -- that's not a proper function of the government according to the current administration.

(I think it is a LA-Lafayette historical helmet -- one of those teams -- the BG came from Bowling Green and I had to put the logo on a red helmet)
