From last weeks stuff:
If you could pick any college Football team in the country to add to the Big Ten, who would it be? To be clear, ignore practical considerations like "they would never pick team X because they are in the PAC-10, or Georgia or whatever" and think about what team you would actually like to see in the Big Ten.
You saw my Top Ten -- but as a reminder I think there are 4 teams that would fit the Big 10 well based on my own criteria -- Cal, Texas, Washington and UNC.

I really don't know how to answer that question. To me, geography is most important, and the academics of the school is of little importance. Although I would prefer a large public school to a private school (Notre Dame)So to reflect that my list(off the top of my head is...
1. Iowa State
2. Missouri
3. Nebraska
4. Ohio
5. West Virginia
6. Oregon
7. Washington
8. Kentucky
9. California
10. Rutgers
I agree w/ Andy in that geographical location is my primary concern. Even so before academics. This is a midwestern conference w/ midwestern teams (Penn St?)and should remain so. I simply would not consider teams outside the midwest w/ the possible excpetion of Pitt because we already have Penn St, and Pitt is a rust belt city. I'd also prefer a public school.
Mizzou and Iowa State are the logical choices to me, but neither team is going to leave the Big 12. That leaves really only two possibilities for teams to join the Big Ten. Notre Dame or a MAC school, yuck. While Notre Dame would advance the "prestige" of the Big Ten more than any other school we could bring in, they're simply too rich and arrogant to join a conference. They don't need the $$$ with their own TV contract and BCS tie in. It appears to me that unless ND decides it needs us more than we need them, the Big 10 is going to stay the Big 11.
