My Proposal for Conference Realignment

I've been working on this for over a week, and I'm finally ready to unveil it to the world. This is my proposal for the realignment of conferences across Division I-A college football. I've included notes referring to the conferences teams belong to now, and what teams each conference has lost. I hope you enjoy the graphics and helmets.

I'm also starting work on my proposal for a college football playoff system that I should unveil in the next month or so.

As people have said to me often, "God you have a lot of time on your hands."

I have to admit it was a lot of fun figuring this out and then putting all the helmets next to the names. I don't know if that means that I'm a huge nerd obsessed with college football, or that I have some kind of mental disorder and am very easily entertained. Either way, I encourage you all to get in on the fun...

You have a lot of time on your hands! My question is why -- what is the justification for the realignment and the moving of particular teams?

I like the scheme overall but why is Notre Dame in the west?

I like the idea of a northeast conf.

Why noy BYU in the Pac Ten instead of Utah? And What about New Mexico State? They should be with New Mex.
