I was thinking this past weekend....who do I really hate in the big ten? So I decided to make a list ranking the Big Ten teams in order of most beloved to most hated. This list s only a reflection of my like and hate towards these football teams and not neccesarily a reflection on my feelings towards that school in general or its other sports teams....although that is taken into consideration.
1. Minnesota (duh)
2. Northwestern
3. Michigan State
4. Illinois
5. Penn State
6. Indiana
7. Michigan
8. Ohio State
9. Purdue
10. Iowa
11. Wisconsin

I don't dislike any Big Ten team.
I often wonder what the hell Northwestern is doing in the Big Ten but that's another issue.
Sometimes I don't like a particular coach or player -- I rooted against Bobby Knight and I'm not too thrilled about Glen Mason but I seldom pull for a Big Ten team to lose or do poorly. It doesn't give me any satisfaction to see Michigan, Ohio State or Iowa lose in the preseason -- I don't hold their past success against them or the arrogance of the fans against them. Even more, I pull for their continued success. I want Chad Henne or Ted Ginn, Jr. or Drew Tate or Brandon Kirsh on the cover of SI. I want Larwence Maroney to be invited to the Heisman presentation and I wnat him to win. Of course if Brian Calhoun is also invited I'd prefer to see himn win. Give me a Big Ten team in the BCS championship game -- I don't care which one it is or how badly they beat/disrespected/stomped on the Badgers.
We'll, I'm a hater, but it's sort of hard for me to hate any Big Ten team as well. I dislike Purdue and Iowa. I hate Michigan's, Iowa, and Wisconsin's fans, and I really do think I hate Iowa, but not Michigan. Purdue is only a very strong dislike, even though I freakin' hate Joe Tiller.

1. Minnesota
2. Northwestern/Wisconsin tie
3. Ok, ties are cheap Wisconsin
4. Illinois
5. Michigan State
6. Penn Statef
7. Ohio State
8. Michigan
9. Indiana
10. Purude
11. Iowa
Oh yeah, I forgot about 'Penn Statef' and 'Purude'...I hate them too, which conference are they in?
