The Farmers have sprinted out to first place with five wins to start the season. The Goodgers have won 3, good enough for second place in the BTFFL. It is a critical game, one more win by the Farmers, and a third loss for the Goodgers could effectively end the race for the regular season title.

The Goodgers are excited to have their star Running Back in the line up this coming week, something they did not have in the week three match-up of undefeateds. The Goodgers are hoping for a similar second half as last season. At this time last year the Goodgers were 2-3. After that, the Goodgers went 4-2 to earn a second trip to the Blue Ox Bowl, which they won. The Farmers are hoping to avoid a let down similar to last season. They entered week 5 with a 4-1 record. Going 2-4 the rest of the year including the dramatic week 11 loss to the Goodgers left the Farmers out in the cold, watching the Blue Ox Bowl out in the fields.

Nice helmet Jay! If you're going to win this week it will be on Hart's back against the nonexistant Gophers run D. The Stanton-less Goodger's still pose a threat, but I think the match ups will favor the Farmers once again. Calhoun v Northwestern, P. Thomas v Indiana, Powers v Illinois, and Avant v. Minnesota has me salivating. I belive this will be my highest scoring weekend thus far. I'm going to predict Farmers by 3 points with a score somewhere near 140 to 137.

WOW! the farmer is cocky these days!

I predict a tie! :)

Actually I agree with the cocky Farmers. The match-ups do look good for the FF and not so good for the Goodgers. Robinson v OSU, Baz v Wisconsin -- I'm going to need those guys to _run_ for touchdowns, I'm afraid, if I wantto get my 50 points out of the QB position.

Yes, I think it's the farmer's year. The only question is can he win the bowl without calhoun in the last week?

By the way, why not a red helmet with a white winged pattern?

Its the color that I could find. The helmets are made in such a way that you can't just reverse colors and the like. I'd try the other way but I don't hate white helmets. Although I have seen your point about white numbers. I wouldn't say I hate them but they can look bad. I don't think they are bad when white is an accent color in other places on the uniform.
